We often hear media reports about children being more sedentary than ever before, but getting children away from the television or tablet computer is easier than you may think.
Little Sports Coaching helps the youngest members of the family to enjoy an active lifestyle, with toddler football coaching in Cheshire providing energetic activities to get them moving. Starting at just 3 years old, we take boys and girls in our pre-school session’s right up to their fifth birthday.
Our Mighty Tots toddler football sessions in Wilmslow are the perfect introduction to the beautiful game. In these sessions they will learn to play and will almost certainly develop a life-long enjoyment of the nation’s favourite game. Our friendly and professional coaches ensure that every child is fully involved in each session. Parental participation is not only welcome but is actively encouraged.
The Little Sports pre-school football training in Wilmslow runs the Mighty Tots programme as follow-on from Tiny Tots, although participation is open to all and is not limited to children who started as a Tiny Tot. We focus on fun, but in practice our young players will also learn essential life skills which will help them as they progress into education and the national curriculum. These weekly 45-minute sessions help to build confidence, develop concentration, increase social skills and of course, to improve motor skills.
Although we are a children’s football club, the sessions are therefore about far more than the game alone. Both Tots programmes are based on the Early Years curriculum. Education is easy when it is fun and this is also a great opportunity to make new friends. We run competitive teams from age 5, but to start with the emphasis is on having fun.
Here at Little Sports Coaching, we have a strict recruitment policy to ensure that our coaching staff is able to provide the best possible tuition. Each member has a nationally recognised coaching qualification and broad experience in coaching, teaching and childcare.
Children wear the full club kit which is included in the membership fees. This ensures that every player feels part of the club and develops a sense of belonging. There is also a modest weekly cost to cover the sessions on top of membership.
