Little Sports Coaching toddler football sessions in Greater Manchester are a fun and energetic way to get your little ones out of the house, exercising and having fun.
Starting at just 18 months old, our pre-school sessions involve children all the way to age 5. Younger players start in the 40 minute Tiny Tots classes, progressing to 45 minute Mighty Tots sessions from the age of 3.
We run a programme of sessions that are in line with the national curriculum for Early Years education. As parents, you can be sure that your little ones are learning whilst having a lot of fun. Joining the team is also a great way to make new friends.
Our Tiny Tots toddler football sessions in Droylsden are the perfect introduction to the game, and to an activity they will probably enjoy for the rest of their lives. The focus is on fun, and our experienced coaches are adept at ensuring that each child is fully involved. Parents are encouraged to participate, which is particularly important with the younger team members.
Once children are a little older, from age 3, they join our Mighty Tots pre-school football training in Droylsden classes. These sessions will build upon their existing football skills and will also teach them the importance of properly warming up and cooling down.
In line with the aims of the curriculum, our weekly sessions help children with a wide range of abilities to build confidence, social skills, concentration and of course, to develop essential motor skills. For the very little ones, the introduction to colours and numbers is a fun way to start learning without realising they’re doing it, and these early skills will prove to be of benefit as they continue to grow and to develop.
Membership fees for Tots FC cover the complete kit. Wearing it will ensure that every child really feels part of the Little Sports Coaching team. Once a player reaches 5 years old, he or she can join our Mini Soccer programme, but to start with the emphasis really is on learning the basics.
Preparation for the sessions is simple: children need to bring a drink with them, preferably water, and to wear their Tots FC kit. Smiles are optional, but are actively encouraged!
