Little Sports Coaching has been supporting schools in the Wirral with top quality sports coaching provision for over 15 years.
We offer a wide range of sports activities that are designed to be fun, stimulating and inclusive for all children, and we offer fully-qualified mentors and sports coaches. We have plenty of experience in working with children when it comes to school sports coaching in Wirral.
Our sports programme is expertly designed and structured to be implemented within the requirements of the National Curriculum, and we have great relationships with our existing school clients.
At Little Sports coaching, we know how vital it is to help children to be fit and active, and the ways in which schools benefit from help with their sports provision. With the government now escalating the importance of primary school sports, the importance of the Wirral schools sports provision is greater than ever. We make sure that all of our sports programmes are fun, engaging and delivered in a secure, safe and highly supportive environment.
Our syllabus is tailored to make sure children of all abilities can help to learn a broad range of skills, regardless of their starting point. We promote good health alongside fitness, and make sure our sports activities help children to become confident, grow their self-esteem and develop their social skills. Through sports, we teach them about goal setting, teamwork and that sense of achievement and satisfaction that comes with developing new skills and achieving their full potential.
At Little Sports Coaching, our programme is tailored to you. We can offer coaching year round for PPA within your school, by providing a varied, engaging and interesting sports programme – with sports such as netball, football, dance, athletics and gymnastics. Our coaches develop quality lesson plans and deliver assessments, allowing your teaching staff to focus on their PPA time without needing to worry about the sports coaching and tuition being delivered to their pupils.
We also support schools with extra-curricular clubs and lunchtime sessions to suit all abilities and ages. These are delivered in small groups so that coaches can provide maximum support and confidence building. These day-time sessions help to boost concentration, energy and learning back in the classroom!
Last but not least, we also offer teacher CPD to teachers, coaches and volunteers – delivered via training courses, mentoring and co-coaching, to ensure that your school achieves its full potential within the sports curriculum.
