Nathan started at LSC in 2018 as an Apprentice Coach in Liverpool, one of the company’s three cities (Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool), and he’s enjoying the challenge!
What inspired you to go into coaching?
“I have always had a passion in sport especially football since a young age, so this inspired me to go down the pathway of coaching.”
What’s a typical day like for you?
“I shadow the LSC coaches in different schools and do my own lunchtime clubs 2 days through the week.”
How would you describe your experience here so far?
“Very good, I have learnt a lot already within a month of joining from the other coaches at LSC.”
What attracted you to an apprenticeship?
“I was originally in university studying a sports coaching course, but found the written work too hard, so this apprenticeship seemed like the right pathway for me to go down and to also start coaching earlier than if I was still in university.”
