Mini Soccer football holiday camps are a great way for your 4-12 year old to develop valuable football skills and passion for the sport in a fun and supportive environment.
Little Sports Coaching runs Mini Soccer holiday camps in Wilmslow and Cheshire – at venues such as the Wilmslow Leisure Centre, Wilmslow, SK9 1BU. The ‘mini’ element refers to a scaled-down version of association football, played on smaller pitches and with fewer players, making it ideal for smaller participants. These games help aspiring young players to get fully involved in the game and really build up all the essential skills of shooting, saving, passing, dribbling, tackling, performing tricks and scoring goals. Rather than being stuck in one position, all players get to attack and defend in a game, exploring it more fully and ultimately having far more fun.
Friendly and inclusive – everyone is welcome
Our kid’s Mini Soccer football camps in Cheshire are friendly and inclusive, and run by highly qualified FA coaches with plenty of experience in the field of kids’ sports coaching. Coaches work closely with the children, with a low coach to participant ratio to ensure plenty of attention. Everyone gets involved and each player has a ball for most of the session, whilst participating fully in enjoyable games and drills, skills and technique sessions – and tournaments.
Skills, team building and life lessons
Children who attend the Mini Soccer football camps and weekly soccer sessions will get to develop valuable skills, make new friends, get fit and discover a real passion for the sport as their skills, endurance, team playing skills and confidence grow. Sessions run for two hours each and are suitable for children aged between 4 and 12, as children are split into age groups.
Prizes for outstanding effort and attitude
Extra fun is on hand with the ‘player of the week’ prizes, which are awarded for the players who best perform, show the most improvement or who demonstrate that vital positive attitude. Players can also feel the part with a mini soccer kit, on sale for £15, including a football shirt.
Camps start at 9.30am and run until 3.30pm in indoor locations, so that rain can’t stop play. Wrap around care is also available every day from 8am until 6pm, giving children more time to spend with their new friends, whilst they enjoy structured sports development and fun games.
All children are welcome, regardless of ability, and there is no pressure on performance. The emphasis is very much on learning, confidence building, skills development and making new friends in a friendly, supportive and energetic environment.
