Little Sports Coaching offers kid’s Mini Soccer football in Bury and the surrounding area at a variety of different venues, including Manchester Maccabi in Prestwich.
The fun, action-packed sessions cost £5.50 a visit, with the option to buy a football kit to allow youngsters to feel part of the Mini Soccer scheme. Each of the two-hour sessions features a range of activities, from mini matches held at the beginning and the end, to tournaments, practises and fun games.
This is a great way of boosting fitness and health, in addition to allowing children aged between five and 12 to learn more about the game of football. Offering a scaled-down version of normal association football, the games and activities are tailor-made for primary-age children. All of the FA-qualified coaches are experienced in getting the best out of this age group.
Smaller teams and reduced-sized pitches allow the coaching team to give each child the attention and motivation they deserve, whilst ensuring that the youngsters see as much on-the-ball action as possible. Youngsters are never confined to playing in a single position; instead the sessions focus on giving each child as much experience of the game as possible, whilst allowing them to improve and practice the skills they have learned.
Dribbling, shooting and passing are all covered but the benefits for children can often be seen at home and school, as well as on the football pitch. Mini Soccer sessions in Prestwich allow youngsters to achieve greater confidence, better co-ordination and a multitude of social skills that go on to benefit them in all aspects of life.
All personalities are well-catered for, whether children are in need of a channel for their energy and enthusiasm in a fun and safe environment or they are youngsters who are naturally shy but still want to spend time with both new and old friends in a welcoming atmosphere where no-one is ever put under pressure to do anything more than their best.
A Player of the Week awards is handed out to recognise achievements, whether these relate to technical skills on the pitch or simply to having a positive attitude or showing an improvement in performance.
The youngsters who take part in the sessions are split into groups appropriate to their age. This ensures that all activities meet their needs in the best possible way and that each child gets the maximum benefit from Mini Soccer.
