“Prior to my position with LSC I was a Professional polo player, playing around the world in countries such as New Zealand, Australia and Argentina. During this timeI also coached and ran my own polo school based in Auckland. After a period of time I joined the Royal Marines gaining valuable skills to coach and teach.
Upon leaving the service I enrolled at Leeds Beckett University on the Sports Coaching BSc course, during this time I coached in multiple schools. Teaching American sports, football, cricket, dance, dodgeball and a breadth of curriculum based sessions tailored to the school’s needs. Alongside this I was a coach at the American Football academy helping in the U17s & U19 team’s, all culminating on building my 12 years’ experience in playing, teaching and coaching sports.
As Area Manager, I am responsible for Little Sports Coaching within the Leeds region and helping LSC on our mission to get MORE CHILDREN to play MORE SPORT and become MORE ACTIVE. This will be achieved through our various programmes and servicesTots FC, Mini Soccer, Holiday courses and our broad range of School PE & Sport support.
I was over the moon to have been offered this role because I share the company’s vision and values and was hugely impressed by the standards they are setting in the industry.
