What’s On This Summer?

6 weeks. 6 continents. A Non-stop adventure!

Each week, children “travel” to a different continent, exploring its cultures through themed activities across sports, arts, science and more. From active games to creative projects and hands-on experiments, every session is designed to spark curiosity, creativity and teamwork.

North America

Wednesday 22nd – Friday 24th July

Children will experience the thrill of American Football, design and construct skyscrapers inspired by the USA, craft colourful maracas from Mexico and even build igloos like those found in Alaska!

South America

Monday 27th – Friday 31st July

Dive into the excitement of Brazilian carnival crafts, create rainforest-themed slimes, groove to authentic Latina dances. We’ll also try traditional Peruvian weaving and grow ice crystals found in the Chilean Andes.

Africa

Monday 3rd – Friday 7th August

This week we’ll celebrate the rich cultures & landscapes of Africa. Children will learn traditional African drumming, explore vibrant art styles like Kente printing, and build their own safari scenes.

Asia

Monday 10th – Friday 14th August

Dive into a vibrant week with festival banner-making, table tennis matches, and relaxing yoga. Kids will solve Ancient Mesopotamian code challenges and create beautiful Middle Eastern mosaics.

Europe

Monday 17th – Friday 21st August

From building solar system models and replicating ancient Greek temples, to competing in our own UEFA-style football tournament and painting like Monet. With a dash of mystery through spy-themed challenges.

Oceania

Monday 24th – Friday 28th August

Travel across Oceania with a week full of Aboriginal art, boomerang crafts, and frisbee. Discover the spirit of the Rugby rivalry, create Moana-style necklaces and explore the fascinating wildlife of the Pacific’s Deadly 60.

Each week:

She absolutely loves the activities and has built strong bonds with the team. The ease of booking is a big plus and they accept the government vouchers so I can save 20% on the cost, which is already very reasonable for what they provide. My daughter has also attended various holiday clubs and has always had a great time. The staff are amazing with my boys and are always so welcoming at drop offs and pick up’s. The location for us is ideal with a great offering of wrap around care. They love the daily “performer” wrist bands and certificates and the end of week trophy! I would highly recommend. My son loves the footie camps at Heron Eccles, he’s been a few times now for a week at a time and has made friends that he always looks forward to seeing on the next camp he goes to. He won the golden ball from the heaven or hell penalty shoot out last camp he did and was delighted. Shaun and the other coaches are great with the kids 👍🏻

When can you attend an LSC holiday club?

We run our Multi-Activity and Sport-based holiday clubs all year round! Each school holiday will be a different theme, such as a Spooky Halloween-themed, October Half-Term Holiday Club, Superhero Vs Villain February Half-Term Holiday Club, Easter Holidays Egg-stravaganza, Mystic May-Hem during the Whitsun Half-Term in May, and an Around-The-World Adventure Summer Holiday Club.

Is LSC a professional childcare provider?

Yes- LSC is a professional childcare provider. Our team is made up of subject and childcare specialists. Our site leads have Paediatric First Aid qualifications and Safeguarding training, so you can feel confident knowing that your child is in safe hands. All our Holiday Club venues are Ofsted Registered, and we have always passed any Ofsted inspections with flying colours.

Our summer holiday club embraces the diverse and rich culture of countries all across the globe, from national sports, speciality crafts, celebrating famous inventions and more! No two days are the same, let alone no two weeks!
