For football-mad youngsters – or those looking to just find out a bit more about the game – Mini Soccer at the Dialstone Centre, Offerton, offers a great opportunity to keep fit and have fun.
Children between the ages of five and 12 can improve their soccer skills, as well as well as enjoying a whole host of other benefits. These range from boosted confidence levels, improved co-ordination and communication, and a team-working ethic that could help them to perform better in all areas of their lives.
Our fully-qualified FA coaches are experienced in working with young people and so are perfectly placed to encourage and advise, whatever their age, experience or personality.
The small-sided games played at the sessions also make it easy for the coaches to instruct and guide, meaning that the youngsters who take part build up their skills as fast as possible under the team’s expert eyes.
There is absolutely no pressure put on the youngsters to perform in any particular way, however. The coaches are there to encourage and motivate, allowing the children to develop at their own pace.
We understand that all children are individuals and the Mini Soccer sessions in Offerton are designed to cater for every child, whether they need help in improving their fitness levels or concentration; would benefit from a confidence boost; or perhaps require help in increasing their co-ordination. Or indeed for those who simply need a fun and safe place to let off some steam and learn new skills.
Little Sports Coaching also understands a fundamental thing about most children: they need to be kept entertained and amused to prevent them from getting bored. That’s why each youngster who takes part in our sessions has a ball for almost all of the session.
The small-sided games also ensure that they never find themselves stuck in one position. They have the freedom to explore all of the game and put all of the dribbling, shooting, passing, and heading skills they have learned to the test.
Participating in kid’s Mini Soccer football in Stockport is also a great opportunity for youngsters to make new friends or spend time with existing ones in a safe location outside of school.
There are awards on offer for children who perform well, show a good attitude, or really improve between sessions, but the rewards don’t end there. The potential benefits of this sort of healthy activity are vast, as is the potential to use many of the other skills learned in all aspects of the children’s lives.
