FC ACADEMY IS BACK!
Our Soccer Schools are going to look a little bit different for the time being, but they are still going to be fun sessions for your little ones to learn and develop as they move through our pathway from FC Academy to FC Sports!
We have had so many messages and emails of customers who want to get back involved. In addition we have surveyed over 1000 customers about our Holiday Courses this summer, with 93% of respondents asking for a space for their child, so we know you’re raring to go!
Full details of what we’re doing to continue to keep everyone safe across all our programmes can be seen here.

Our FC Academy sessions have been adapted for delivery whilst social distancing and with hygiene a priority so you will notice a couple of differences…
Adapted games and activities
LSC staff will follow new social distancing session plans to limit contact. Contact games and competitive matches will not be played at any point. Once equipment is used the LSC staff member will clean all equipment with an antibacterial cleaning product before the next bubble uses it. This will be planned for within the timetable. This means no equipment that travels or is passed from one child to another can be used (balls, cones etc). We will have a place where the child’s equipment can stay isolated, and only be touched/returned by the child (label it if you have the same group). This equipment becomes ‘theirs’ and theirs alone whilst they are participating in the session. Bibs or bands will not be used during sessions.
LSC will plan to use less equipment. Once equipment is used the LSC staff member will clean all equipment with an antibacterial cleaning product before the next bubble uses it. This will be planned for within the timetable.
Social Distancing
The latest guidance for social distancing needs to be applied at all times. This includes pick up and drop off, when walking through the venue, as well as during their sessions. Group sizes will adhere to government guidance and be reduced to a level where social distancing rules can be applied.
Regular Cleaning
Continue rigorous cleaning procedures throughout each day of delivery. Staff will carry out regular cleaning of high-contact touch points throughout the premises.
Once equipment is used the LSC staff member will clean all equipment with an antibacterial cleaning product before the next bubble uses it.
Hygiene
Staff will wash their hands several times a day, as well as using hand sanitizer at the session. Hand washing facilities will be provided and hand sanitiser will be readily available to use throughout the session.
LSC is an approved UK Kids member, and a business associate of the Association for PE. Recognising the company’s high standard of provision and giving access to a range of exclusive training benefits and resources.
FC Academy will be running at as many venues as possible as we work towards full re-opening. If your favorite venue is not yet available, rest assured we are working hard to re-open it as soon as possible. New venue announcements are being made frequently to our email subscribers and on our social media accounts, so keep your eyes peeled.
