Callum Davies joins the LSC team as Head Coach and Academy Manager at our club Cheadle Town FC!
Hi everyone, my name is Callum Davies and I am thrilled to have joined the LSG team as the new Cheadle Town Football Club Academy Manager and Head Coach.
For the last 2 years I have been the BTEC Recruitment Lead at Dragon Academy & Pro Football Academy which is in partnership with Stockport Town FC. I have a passion for football management and I’m working towards a first team position. Being manager of Stockport Town U21’s, and enjoying some successes along the way, for the past three seasons has helped me grow my management skill set.
In the main I will be looking into new ways to promote and expand the full time college education programme including career events, school events, trial matches, keep warm events, friendlies & league games and much more. Alongside my Cheadle Town Academy responsibilities I will be looking to share my experiences delivering in schools with other members of LSC staff. Whether it be leading sessions, coaching or mentoring coaches within school settings, I’m sure my 8 years of coaching experience will benefit the whole team.
I am really looking forward to meeting new staff, helping Cheadle Town Academy & the Little Sports Group (LSG) grow as an organisation.
