“I’ve had the opportunity to choreograph and work with some incredible people, and wish to pass their knowledge that they gave me onto others.”
Coach Charlotte will be joining the LSC holiday course team as Specialist Guest Coach for Dance & Gymnastics this February at Ben Rhydding in Ilkley.
Coach Charlotte’s started dancing at the age of four and studied many different disciplines of dance including Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Street, Tap and Contemporary. She also took gymnastics classes weekly where she gained here certification.
Charlotte then went onto a professional vocational dance school in Chester, Cheshire where she spent three years training for the performing arts industry, and gained her Level 6 diploma in Musical Theatre.
“My Gymnastics training also supported a performer in showing their uniqueness and diversity in comparison to others in an audition, so previous experience really helped. I also trained in doubles work with a partner which consisted of acrobatic lifts with a male partner.” said Charlotte
Specialist Coach Charlotte has also performed in shows such as Chicago, Guys and Dolls, Charlie Brown, 42nd street, Panto’s and also dance variety showcases. After beginning her career in the performing arts industry she furthered her education and went on to complete a BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre.
Charlotte is really looking forward to joining the team in “I still have the passion I did when I was a child and I look forward to working with all the children at this year’s holiday camps at Ben Rhydding Primary School.”
