LSC joins The Association for Physical Education as a Business Associate member.
The Association for PE are the only PE Subject Association in the UK. Their purpose is to promote and maintain high standards and safe practice in all aspects and at all levels of physical education, school sport and physical activity, influencing developments at national and local levels that will impact on pupils’ physical health and emotional well-being.
LSC have had a great working relationship with AfPE for several years and have had afPE trainers come to work exclusively with their staff. These training days have educated coaches in a wide range of topics within the context of planning, delivering and assessing PE in schools. AfPE trainers always have a huge amount of experience and knowledge in their field and the staff at LSC have been all ears, soaking up every detail covered.
AfPE’s Business Associate Membership scheme recognises high quality providers who support Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
LSC CEO Craig was delighted to further the relationship. “We’re really happy to make the working relationship ‘official’ if you like. I know our staff love the access to the knowledge base that afPE have, and we’ve had schools’ comment on the quality of delivery from our staff as a result. It’s another reason that schools have in seeing that we have a high set of standards in our delivery.“
