We’re always striving to improve here at Little Sports Coaching, whether it be our apprentices’ gaining qualifications whilst working, or our head coaches finding new and improved ways to develop children in all sports.
The training doesn’t stop there, as our CEO, Craig Brennan, has recently completed The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Programme.
The course which is delivered by a mix of very high level academics and successful business mentors was created in 2010 to provide substantial support for small enterprises which had been lacking in previous times. This support has allowed numerous small businesses to unlock their economic and job creation potential, through providing greater access to education, capital and business support services.
“The programme was very intense, especially as we still had our own businesses to run at the same time.” commented Craig.
The 35 small businesses on the programme, covered topics such as Finance and Marketing, Leadership and Internationalising your Business, as well as having the opportunity to work within a ‘growth group’. “There are not many opportunities out there to speak to likeminded business owners who understand your obstacles and what you often go through, when running your own business. Our group will be staying in touch and meeting a couple of times a year.”
“We will also be making the most of one of the more valuable benefits following the completion of the programme, the ‘Goldman Sachs Alumni’ free courses and seminars throughout the year.” Craig said.
The completion of this course ensures that Little Sports Coaching are aware of areas to improve and grow in, resulting in services being provided to schools and parents across the North West to improve social skills and sporting activities of children.
